Dominican-American Roberto Gell's Caribbean roots take him into to the heart of the Reggae archipelago. Having studied both the music & philosophy of Rastafari (among others in his modern, composite tradition), he's created a fascinating blend of songs that showcase his rapping and singing skills in both English and Spanish. Appearing just before Midnite at the Montreal Reggae Festival this year, Roberto Gell toured Canada last summer with his West Coast band I-Trinity.
