Can you tell me when Sonbeam will be touring please?

What a good question. I'm afraid I haven't an immediate answer, except to say that we're working on a new release for Sonbeam, we're crafting video footage in order to enhance our promotional packages, and we're looking to Europe & Canada for Sonbeam in latter 2006. Did you know that his music appears not only on the spotlight CD "Get it Together," but also he has 3 songs on the "Forward Ever" compilation.

I have a comment on the article written about white rastafarians. Bob Marley revered by many "rasta's" was 1/2 white so does that mean he was only 1/2 rastafarian?

Genius observation. I'm not aware of what Bob's public position was on this, but I can only imagine his private meditations on the topic. Having "2 bloods" running through his veins, I'm sure he had to accept the inevitable fact of "One Blood."

me again more comments on "white rasta's" Haile Selassie I (King of Kings Lord of Lords) is said to be a direct descendent of King Soloman and the Queen of Sheba. King Soloman though not "white" was also not African. It is also believed though (by rastas) that Ethiopia was the birthplace of all mankind "Garden of Eden" so by this reasoning we are all of African descent. So is there some sort of percentage of "blackness" you must have to be Rastafarian, and if so who decides.

Yes I, well' Dub Station went dormant, production-wise, from 2003-mid-2005, but is now back to producing artists, and is actually seeking new talent to work with, mostly on the client tip, but also on the production-deal tip.

I like the selection in your catalog. Will you be expanding to more genre's of music than just reggae?

No. We really believe that Reggae (note the Latin root 'reg' from 'king') is The King's music, and best expresses our experience of the deity & glory of earth's creation. Not that other forms aren't worthy in their own right, but this is our specialty & primary interest. In-house producer Sean Acker's got a fair amount of hip hop on his menu, and that's likely to pop up on our radar (but always in a conscious veign). Historically, we (Kyle Russell) created & published Rhythm Music Magazine as a vehicle for the advancement of Reggae. It's main focus was World music, and as an undertaking, became more about the printing deadline (and advertising) than about Reggae music itself, hence the current, more exclusive focus on Reggae.
